The institute was established by ministerial Decree No. (921) dated 17/6/2006, with the primary mission of preparing and qualifying highly competent and well-trained cadres to serve the tourism sector.
It is committed to providing an enabling that foster the development of students’ academic knowledge, practical skills, and professional ethics in the field of tourism, so that graduates can meet the requirements labor market in fields of tourism studies, tourism guidance, and hotel management.

Department of Tourism Guidance
Department of Tourism Studies, which has one specialization: Airline Management
Department of Hospitality Management, which is divided into three specializations: (Hotel Management - Art of Culinary Management - Restaurant Management).
the institute is under the supervision of Ministry of Higher Education.
Features and Facilities of the Institute
  • The institute grants a Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent to those awarded by Egyptian Universities and an accredited by the Minster of Higher Education.
  • The certificate qualifies graduates to register for postgraduate studies at Egyptian Universities
  • The duration of study is four years.
  • The language of instruction is Arabic
  • The institute offers four foreign languages: English, French, German, and Chinese.
  • Military Service for male students is officially deferred during the period of the study
